Just in case
The Southern Inyo Fire Protection District is located in Tecopa Hot Springs and is on-call 24-hours a day, seven days a week. This includes fire protection, ambulance and EMT services. They work with Mercy Air to provide helicopter transportation to Las Vegas hospitals. The Inyo County Sheriff Department provides law enforcement and Search and Rescue. 9-1-1 is available by land-line phones only.
